Istanbul

The MOLAND database available for the Istanbul urban area covers an area measuring roughly 60 (East-West) by 40 (North-South) km.
Medium-resolution analyses are performed on the entire area, high-resolution analysis is limited to a test site (QuickBird image), covering different types of urban structures characteristic for the study area.

The following images are used in high resolution (HR) and in medium resolution (MR)

HIGH RESOLUTION

7.750 km (initial scale)

The area covered 4 times by HR panchromatic images is delimited in yellow.

The rectangle in purple corresponds to the area of the QuickBird image in the interactive Google Map frame

Upper left buttons allow panning and zooming while upper right buttons allow switching from satellite to street or relief maps.
